Natural Heritage in Ain Zhalta

Our hike will start at the Ain-Zhalta gate. We will head upwards around 500m to reach the top of the mountain where we can see or take pictures of amazing views; in addition to different types of trees on our way where the guide will introduce them to us.

After reaching the top (1900m above the sea) and hiking for around 3 km we will start going downward slowly until we exit the reserve area at around 1200m above the sea. We resume hiking in Nabeh El-Safaa towards the restaurants area which will be our final point.

Our hiking information:
- Distance: 13 - 14km
- Hiking level Medium/Medium (5/10)
- Cumulative ascent: +600m
- Cumulative descent: -800m
- Altitude: max 1900m min 1100m
- time for hiking between 5:00 till 5:30 hours slow steps
- we will have approximately 15 short breaks around 2 mins each before we reach the end.

Best things to bring with you for hiking are the following:
- Backpack
- ID Card or Passport
- Self Insurance Card
- Cap or Hat
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- 2 liters of water
- Dried fruits or chocolate power bars for hiking or sandwiches from home.
- Finally, a big smile to enjoy our full day of hiking.
