Hiking to Kfarmechky Grape Festival

We start our hike at Raja Abdalla's church towards the Marj where the Grape's festival is. witness how grapes are harvested and we learn more about what makes Kfarmeshki village so special.

We will make a tour where we see the "MOUNEH" they prepare throughout the year and we can buy anything we want directly from the farmers.

After we finish our hike, we will reach the spot where this event is taking its place so we can enjoy several activities they are sharing:
- Live fusion cooking by the Artisan Chef Hussein Hadid
- Honey Museum
- Mouneh for winter
- Yoga meditations for those who are interested
- Rural sketching
- Kids rural activities, mini farm and heritage discovery for kids with their parents

our hiking information:

- Distance: 10km - 12km
- Hiking level Medium/Easy (4/10)
- Cumulative ascent: +50m
- Cumulative descent: -350m
- Altitude: max 1250m min 900m
- time for hiking between 3:00 till 3:30 hours slow steps
- we will have approximately 8 short breaks around 3 mins each before we reach the end.

best stuff to bring with you for hiking are the following:

- Backpack
- ID Card or Passport
- Self Insurance Card (if you have one)
- Extra sweatshirt and a thin jacket
- Hiking shoes
- Hiking stick if needed
- 2 liter of water
- Dried fruits or chocolate power bars for hiking that keep you warm and give you power to hike.
